Capuano
Dom Capuano is a Los Angeles-based music composer, producer, sound designer, musician, and educator with professional experience extending 25 years. He earned his Master’s Degree in Classical Music Performance at the Conservatoire de la Vallée d’Aoste in Italy in addition to a degree in composition with electroacoustic instruments and a background study in piano and orchestral conducting.
Dom has also pursued scoring for films and video games as well as live performance. In Italy, Dom was a member of several orchestras playing the double bass and the keyboards. His professional career as a songwriter and producer started in the mid to late ‘90s, collaborating on a string of hits for pop artists such as the Eiffel 65, famous for their hits “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” and “Move Your Body.” He also remixed several international songs for artists such as Toni Braxton, Busta Rhymes, and Jean-Michel Jarre. Currently he works as a musical virtuoso in Los Angeles, working in various types of gigs and teaching aspiring musicians.
